dc.description.abstractThe article addresses the problem of developing the professional image of a foreign language teacher in Ukraine. The aim of this study was to determine the attitude of students of Ukrainian universities to the studied concept and to identify the level of their training. The structure of the professional image of future foreign language teachers consists of several underlying constructs that were described in the article: cognitive, axiological and operational components. The results show that Ukrainian future teachers have different perceptions of the notion of the professional image of a foreign language teacher. The aim of this survey is to provide suggestions for organizational, personnel and pedagogical conditions to facilitate the development of the professional image of future foreign language teachers in Ukrainian higher education institutions.uk_UA
