Characteristics of the impact of munitions explosion sites on the ecological condition of the surrounding area

Abstract

At the present stage of development of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the task of ensuring the environmental safety of places of storage and disposal of ammunition which safe operation term has expired, or storage conditions of which have been significantly violated, becomes especially important. This task becomes especially acute in connection with the aggression of the Russian Federation in eastern Ukraine and the associated large-scale pollution of the territory of our state with explosive devices.
