Abstract: Fluid-structure interaction problems are in the focus of attention of many researchers since the middle of the last century. But the relevance of such research is only growing. This is caused by the rapid development of modern technologies in rocketry, chemical, naval, nuclear, energy industries, and biomechanics. Particularly topical are the issues of hydrodynamic interaction in estimating the strength and dynamic characteristics of launch vehicle tanks. The creation of each new launch vehicle leads to design of new tanks, which requires their refined strength analysis. Note that the presence of a free surface, a change in the filling level and the level of gravity during mission cause especial difficulties
