Abstract: The article analyzes the impact of stress on the development of mental disorders in children and adolescents during the war. Psychological immaturity of young people, weak volitional control of emotional reactions and strong influence of subcortical structures on the functional state of the central nervous system determine the specific consequences of psychological trauma for young people after stress. It has been proven that children are particularly sensitive to information products, they not only perceive them, but also, above all, grow up in a certain subcultural atmosphere. The presence of children in the conditions of military conflicts, where information plays a decisive role, can cause physiological maladaptation, which can lead to psychological disorders. Therefore, the issue of children's informational and psychological safety becomes especially relevant in modern conditions.
