Abstract: The typology of digital technologies is systematized on the basis of the analyzed scientific developments in this field. The role of such technologies in ensuring the development of the public administration system is defined. It is emphasized that the influence of digital technologies on the sphere of national security must be predicted and regulated in view of the scale of the danger that lies in the use of such technologies. The role of artificial intelligence in the provision of national security is substantiated.
