Abstract: | Climate change is a significant factor influencing the state of water resources at all levels. Rising temperatures, changes in precipitation patterns, water flow seasonality, and water quality deterioration are key issues that require detailed research and the development of adaptation measures. Climate change not only threatens water resource availability but also affects ecosystem functioning and increases the risk of water pollution. The primary goal of this study is to analyze the impact of climate change on the state of surface waters and the effectiveness of drainage systems, as well as to develop recommendations to mitigate these negative effects. The research covers a wide range of factors, including changes in water resources, ecosystems, and drainage infrastructure. |
