THE RUSSIAN-UKRAINIAN WAR: BASIC PRECONDITIONS AND CAUSES.

Abstract

In a scientific and theoretical context, the nature, features, and stages of the evolution of modern international relations, from postbipolarity (1991–2014) to neo-post-bipolarity (2014–2025), are highlighted. The impact of the Russian-Ukrainian War (2014–2025), the largest interstate armed conflict since the end of World War II, on the growth of chaos, conflict-proneness, and deliberalization of international relations is comprehensively investigated. Scientific reflection on the phenomenon of neo-post-bipolar international relations combines an interdisciplinary approach with paradigmatic research constructs, primarily of representatives of neo-realism and the Copenhagen School of Security Studies.
