Abstract:	There has been substantiated the application of the method of anodic oxidation for the destruction of the most resistant to biodegradation pharmaceuticals contained in the hospital effluents. It has been stated that carrying out of such an oxida-tion process using anodes coated with ruthenium oxide in solutions containing sodium chloride, leads to complete degradation of these drugs
