Abstract: Filter media usage of stormwater treatment from different pollutants is very common today. There are four types of filters media will be discussing in this article: sawdust, basalt granules, limestone granules and granules of polyurethane. This filters media look on the detention of the following indicators of pollution: chemical oxidation demand (COD), oils, suspended solids and mineralization – all this pollutants are prevail components of pol-lution from different urbanization areas. Presence of other pollution indicators in stormwater such as heavy metals, pesticides, microbiological pollutants, surfactants and their treatment will be discussing and investigating of another study.
