THE USE OF THE MOBILE APPLICATION «MENTAL TUTOR» IN THE PROCESS OF PSYCHOLOGICAL RECOVERY OF THE PERSONNEL OF THE SECURITY AND DEFENCE SECTOR WHO WERE INJURED

Abstract

Unfortunately, a brutal war with the aggressor is being waged on the territory of Ukraine. Many heroes are defending our independence both on the battlefield and in the ranks of the security and defence sector, protecting the border, search and rescue operations after shelling, and are injured while performing their assigned tasks or as a result of hostilities. Psychologists of all departments and institutions pay maximum attention to working with the wounded and use all possible additional resources that may be available in the modern world. One of these additional resources is mobile applications. These, in turn, are becoming increasingly important in psychological recovery processes, offering an accessible and easy way to access additional mental health resources. The main aspects that emphasise the relevance of these tools are accessibility and convenience. Mobile apps allow users to access psychological support anytime and anywhere, removing barriers such as travelling or scheduling that may limit in-person counselling.
